What if the air filter is dirty, do it yourself!
Time:2023-02-14
As the air quality gets worse and worse, we need to replace the air filter regularly. What if we are too lazy to go to the auto repair shop?
The following small series to teach you a small method, you might as well try!
First open the engine compartment, the left side of the positive pole of the battery is the position of the air filter. The air cleaner is covered by a sealed housing above which the intake pipe is connected. To replace the air filter, disassemble the housing cover. There are 4 buckles around the housing cover, which are used to press the plastic housing above the air filter and keep the air intake pipe sealed. After opening the buckle, you can open the plastic shell and see the air filter inside. After removing the old air filter, we will find that the filter seat under the air filter has accumulated a lot of dust. At this time, we can use a wet cloth or a high-pressure air gun to remove dust. When installing a new air filter, we need to pay attention to a protruding plastic sheet on the right below the air filter. This plastic sheet is designed to prevent the air filter from being installed. When installing the air filter, the plastic sheet must be stuck in the slot of the filter seat to be installed in place. After making sure that the air filter is installed in place, you can cover the shell, and buckle the 4 buckles on the edge and you are done.
